I have seen a lot of discussoin about the recall function and I am worried about my privacy. Even though this function are quite likely not available in my PC (There is no Recall & snapshots page), I cannot 100% sure if this function will be implemented and turned on in the future and how many "hidden settings" out there. Therefore, I wonder if there is a power shell command or regedit parameter that could reveal this recall function to safeguard my privacy.

Interesting that i have a Snapdragon with Copilot and Recall is unexpectedly but thankfully disabled. (for now)

    Yet for others without enabled.

There myust be a logigical explanation, maybe region specific, or most likely storage requirements, but clearly... there is misinformation about what is actually happening and many regurgitate a script rather than fact

    Ry N1,

Yes, here's one article that explains the anomaly and how it occurs on non-CoPilot capable PC's as a 'glitch' that results from Microsoft trying to make its removal easier for certain devices.

This very old thread about the issue just got missed by those answering the confused, which is all those ranting about it are, as with everything AI.
