Hi Kaal Letawske.
Welcome to the Microsoft Community.
Unfortunately, the device you mentioned in your question is quite old and it is no longer supported by Microsoft or most hardware manufacturers. But nonetheless, I have checked some information for you. For some of the newer controllers (product ID starts with 85791 or 96755) that have a 15-pin connector that is compatible (but not stable) with USB, a converter may help you. However, USB devices were not mainstream at the time of its release, so you may need to carefully screen your device to see if it supports conversion to USB or not.
There have been a few people in the flight sim community who have discussed this controller, you might want to check out this thread:
I understand your love for this controller, it uses a lot of technology that isn't very common these days, and if you would like to see the controller re-supported by Microsoft, you can give feedback to the Microsoft developers. I would love to help, but I am not a Microsoft developer. You can give feedback on your problem at the following website, please be as detailed as possible in describing the problem you are experiencing. Microsoft developers see every user's feedback and your feedback is very important to us.
Send feedback to Microsoft with the Feedback Hub app - Microsoft Support
We wish you success with your controller.
