Hello, Simon Veli Siwela
Welcome to the Microsoft community.
Thank you for your feedback. I understand that you are experiencing problems with Pin, I need to confirm your issue, can you access the command prompt now? You can also take a picture of your command prompt error and send it to me. Here are some troubleshooting options:
- If you can access the command prompt, you can refer to the following method:
On the lock screen, hold down the Shift key and restart your computer from the bottom right corner of the screen.
Your system will reboot to a special boot options menu. From there, select Troubleshooting > Advanced Options > Command Prompt.
In the Command Prompt window, type and press Enter. regedit
In the Registry Editor, select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, then go to the File menu and select Load Hive.
Locate the drive where the operating system is installed (usually C:) and navigate to Windows\System32\config.
Select the file named SAM and click Open.
In the dialog box that appears, name the file (for example, REM_SAM).
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\REM_SAM\SAM\Domains\Accounts\Users\000001F4, and then double-click on the string named F. In the table that opens, locate the number 11 (first column, eighth row), click to its right, press Backspace to delete 11, and then type 10 in its place.
Close the Registry Editor by typing in the Command Prompt window and restart the computer normally. exit
- If you cannot access the command prompt, you can try to reinstall windows using the USB installation media.
