Hey

So i just wanted to hear, if i'm the only one with those frustrations about windows 11?

  • They claim you get better FPS,
which is 100% a lie, windows 11 is Bad for gaming,
i lose 30-40 fps instantly as i upgrades, in the same game, same settings, same degrees +- 1-2.
(i tested this on 3 other systems)
  • Are they trying to copy MacOS?
i feel like windows 11 is just a worse macOS....
There is a reason, i use windows, cuz i dont like their system, but if microsoft is heading that direction ....
i guess i have to find another operation system?

All your monitoring and Advertisment, and popups..... good job, just what a customer want......

Why are they claiming lies, and try to push win11 in the face of other operation systems, also older system that cant even upgrade.....

    Hello, Crimsonz.

As I said before, I'm more of a gamer like you than a Microsoft developer on this issue, and in fact this community is not involved in the development of any Microsoft products.

For the interface and UI changes, it will be really puzzling for a user who is used to Windows 10 and feels that the interface design of the system now tends to look the same.

Also, the idea of a gaming version of Windows, such an idea has been proposed by many gamers, and it is true that gamers could save too much hassle and reduce too many problems if there were gaming-specific systems for PCs.

But unfortunately, Windows is not designed to be a system made for gaming. There's nothing I can do about that.

All Microsoft can do is fix and optimize the existing problems one by one.

We need this issue to be understood by the relevant teams, your needs and experience need to be known to them, both the game and the interface style part.

So I invite you to submit feedback with the steps on the page below, and you can call on more friends to do so as well, a sufficient number of problem reports are more likely to be brought to the attention of the related team:

Send feedback to Microsoft with the Feedback Hub app - Microsoft Support

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

    Best Regards.

for the comparing to macOS, i would like you guys to try out a MacOS, and try to compare it,

    • Processbar centered?
    • Corners being rounded?
    • Control panel, not primæry settings (this is a issue with earlier versions too), this is good for small settings, but you always have to go into advaced settings, so it pretty useless.
there is alot the things look 1:1,
Goodluck, maybe its just time to find something diffrent then windows, when you guys dont even know what you are anymore

For turning of all this micrcosoft rubbish, i always turn it of as the first thing, i dont understand why you dont just make 2 windows version

    • Windows 11 - Office (This being regualar or optimised for work or desktop)
    • Windows 11 - Gaming (Optimised for gaming, all the microsoft spam and ads turned off, all those smart funktions, that eat fps TURN THEM OFF)
you might have some correctness in that the game also have to be optimised, befor they really connect best.

    Hello, Crimsonz.

We appreciate you posting in Microsoft community.

Benefiting from your detailed description, I noticed that your game frame rate dropped after updating Windows 11.

I'm glad to have the opportunity to help you with this issue.

Honestly, I'm a gamer as well, and like you, I've experienced the frame rate effects of different versions of Windows.

This problem is often caused by compatibility, as the impact of a Windows upgrade varies for different games. Some games have lag issues that even require an update to Windows 11 to fix (of course game developers' poor optimization and adaptation of Windows 10 is also part of the problem)

As you said, some games will have a drop in frame rate performance in Windows 11, we can't change that, all I can suggest is some options for frame rate optimization.

For example, Game Mode and Hardware Acceleration in Windows, this will have an effect on the frame rate of the game, but it may not affect different games, you can try to turn it off and on to detect it.

Also, for example, the Game Bar component and some other software may cause problems, and you can try to turn them off to improve your game's frame rate.

As for your reference to copying MacOS, although members of this community are not involved in any development, I believe that Windows has its own direction and that differentiation between products is inevitable.

If, as a hardcore gamer, you play games that really don't perform well in Windows 11, then roll back the Windows version or wait for a subsequent Windows 11 update.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best Regards.
