Assassin's Creed Rogue Crashing on Windows 11 Update 24H2

Hi,

After updating my PC to Windows 11 24H2, I’ve encountered an issue with Assassin's Creed Rogue. The game crashes every time I try to start a new game.

  1. The issue only occurs on devices running Windows 11 24H2.
  2. I’ve tested the game on multiple PCs with Windows 11 24H2, and they all experience the same crash.
  3. PCs with Windows 11 23H2 run the game without any issues. Thing I've Tried:
  • Reinstalling the game.
  • Running the game in compatibility mode for older Windows versions.
  • Updating GPU drivers.
  • Disabling background apps and antivirus software.
    System Specs:

  • Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10300H CPU @ 2.50GHz (4 cores)
  • RAM: 8.00 GB
  • System Type: 64-bit OS, x64-based processor
  • OS: Windows 11 24H2

Has anyone else encountered this issue with Assassin's Creed Rogue on Windows 11 24H2?
Is this a known compatibility problem with this update?
Any suggestions or fixes would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

I Have these issues... Recently Installed AC rogue.. When i opened, the intro & exit menu working good. But when i Created an New Save profile and Start a new game... It crashes on the Loading Screen.. i tried many times like reinstalling the game... none of them works..

    Here are my PC specs:

             Processor - 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-12100F 3.30 GHz

             RAM - 8.00 GB
System type - 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
             OS - Win11 24h2

Now i have Some new official Updates in Windows 11 like ( Cumulative Update for Win 11 version 24h2 for x64 based systems) , Security, Net framework etc... I dont know these Updates will work on this problem or We have to wait until the Win 11 25h1 update

    Thank You

I found the simplest solution. Simply disable "Full Screen Optimization" on the compatibility tab of the properties on ACC.exe. I kept playing with the compatibility options one by one and this is the one that corrected the issue for me.
