Hi, I am an Independent Advisor.

Let me help you with this issue.

I understand you are having problems connecting to your WIFI.

Please hover your mouse to the Network or Wireless icon at the lower right-hand corner then right-click it and click Troubleshoot Network. Let the troubleshooter finish until it's done then this should either fix the problem or give us an error message.

If that doesn't work, we need to remove the WIFI driver from the Device Manager and restart the pc to reinstall it.

Here are the steps to completely remove a Device from your computer.

Step 1. Use shortcut keys Windows key+ X

    Step 2. Select Device Manager.

Step 3. Expand the entry for Network Adapters, Right-click the problematic device it is either Intel Wireless or Realtek WIFI adapter, and select Uninstall device.

Step 4. You need to check the option Delete the driver software for this device and then click the Uninstall button.

    Step 5. Reboot the computer.

After the reboot, please see if the problem is fixed.

If that still does not work, please visit the support website of your laptop or desktop and then download and install the latest Wireless driver then restart the PC.

    Please try a Network Reset.

Click on the Start search box and type in Network Reset. Once open, click on Reset Now. Your machine will automatically restart.

I deleted the adapter and restarted and it still isn’t working. The support website said I had to reset my broadband modem for the internet to work. I can’t access the rest of the support website because theres no internet, that was what came up when I clicked to see what was wrong.

I tried installing an up to date wireless driver and it said I already had that.

Please run the Device Manager as an administrator, click on the search box at the bottom of the taskbar, type in Device Manager, right-click it then run as administrator.

Then once the Device Manager is up, expand the Network adapters, right-click the Wireless driver go to Properties, go to Drivers, and go to Uninstall Driver, the option to delete the driver software box should come up.

Where do I find ‘delete the driver software’ option? All I see is the second thing ur supposed to do after u click that. Will it mess it up if I just click that?
