having the same issue someone please help
Airpods connecting then disconnecting immediately after with windows 11
I'm trying to use my apple Airpods (normal 2nd gen,) and almost every time I try to use them after putting them in my ears, I hear the connection chime followed by no audio playing, then the disconnect. I've tried restarting my computer, factory resetting the airpods, disconnecting them and reconnecting, and forgetting the device then repairing and nothing is working. Anyone know how to fix this?

2025-01-31T00:49:24+00:00 Hi Welcome to Microsoft community. I understand how frustrating it is to have your AirPods disconnecting unexpectedly, especially after trying multiple solutions. When did your issue approximately occur, so that I can better assist you?
Let’s go through a few other steps that might help resolve this issue
- Update Bluetooth Drivers: Go to Device Manager > Bluetooth, right-click your Bluetooth adapter, and select Update driver. This ensures Windows 11 is using the latest version for compatibility.
- Adjust Bluetooth Power Settings: Sometimes, Bluetooth devices disconnect due to power-saving settings. Go to Device Manager > Bluetooth, find your Bluetooth adapter, right-click and select Properties. Under the Power Management tab, uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power, then hit OK.
- Audio Output Check: After pairing, double-check that the AirPods are selected as the default audio device. Right-click the Speaker icon on the taskbar, select Sound settings, and set AirPods as the default device under Output.
- Try the Windows Troubleshooter: Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters, and run the Bluetooth troubleshooter. It can automatically detect and resolve common Bluetooth issues.

Hi
I have made all changes specified and it still has the same problem outlined by Joseph. These air pods are brand new, could it be something to do with my computer or the air pods? None of the settings you specified made a difference. Is there anything else I can do?
Thank you,
Brayden
