Microsoft SideWinder Precision Pro driver

... Its still working even in Windows 11. No software to customize the controls anymore, but its still working. Also, I don't think I've installed any drivers. Just plugged in this ancient joystick.

I have the same problem and for a software/hardware tech, they should be able to make a universal software for windows that allows to reverse the slider as my slider is always backwards. I keep thinking the new hardware guys do not want anyone being able to use their old sticks people paid $160 for(I paid $60 back in 1998) so they dish out for their new stuff and tell me that my games are no good, they are old. Well so am I, old, and I suppose the new generation is too spoiled rotten to assist to make a Sidewinder work. There is nothing like listening to some modern "expert" tell my my old equipment is no good. A fella from here in Boise did very well with old sidewinder, he died in the process, he was Mohammed Atta, so assumes the government. May be the genius government thinks they are going to prevent terrorism? The name for this is called planned obsolescence and was prevalent with automobiles back in the 1960s and people could not get to work, sometimes. This is a game thing, but learning to be a pilot at home is what and old Flight Game can do. I am surprised that Microsoft keeps no pride in its products. What adaptor did you use?

If a driver isnt available on the sidewinder web site and win 11 doest auto detect it, then its not supported
