Can I clone my windows 11 c drive and install it on another computer then change the license info on the second computer?

I purchased my father a windows 11 capable computer that is the same computer as the one I use. Can I just clone my c drive, install it in his computer, the input his windows 11 license?

    Though it is technically possible but If you are planning to use existing license then using the same license on multiple computers will be a violation of the licensing agreement.

    This could lead to activation issues or even legal consequences.

    Windows 11 installs drivers specific to your hardware configuration. When you move the cloned drive to a different computer, those drivers may not be compatible, leading to instability or boot issues.

    Even if the computers are the same model, there might be minor hardware differences. These differences can still cause problems with a cloned installation.

    The recommended approach is to purchase a new Windows 11 license for other computer and install Windows there.
