I am having the same issue. I am no longer able to obtain my Spectrum email on Outlook.
After the 4 Feb 2025 update, Outlook New can't connect to my email provider
Everything was working fine until I saw the update finish.
There have been no other changes.
IMAP, SMTP and password info are correct.
charter.net doesn't recognize the Outlook (New) login attempt.
NOTE: This is a Windows 11 PC (4 months old). I can't, nor do I want to, go back to Outlook "Classic".
I can login to my charter account and see my email (only). I have additional family accounts in Outlook (New).
I am afraid of losing data (For a third time) because of this updated ***** program.
Any suggestions?

2025-02-06T23:50:19+00:00 I have the same issue! Changed nothing but after a Microsoft update, same problem. I installed the Thunderbird mail app and it has no issues receiving or sending my emails. The New Outlook is just dead!
So once again, Microsoft does the blame game, and the issues continue. This is not acceptable at all!

2025-02-06T20:01:29+00:00 All three worked fine for months, years even, on the same computer. Everything appears identical - all settings and servers. I painstakingly went through each this morning ensuring that every setting I can possibly control is identical.
I've wasted so much time on it already that I'll leave it be and just retrieve mail from the mail host's website and hope that it's one of those things that will spontaneously rectify itself. Thanks for your suggestions. I've come to accept that Outlook is regularly troublesome.

2025-02-06T11:25:41+00:00 Those are for the "Operating system".
I get updates for apps (Like Outlook) from the Microsoft store all the time.
Just spent an hour with Spectrum support. They still blame Microsoft.
The "Blame game" goes on.

2025-02-05T17:07:40+00:00 My Microsoft Store history shows that "Outlook for Windows" was modified 2/04/2025.
I am using Microsoft Outlook Version: 1.2025.129.300 (Production).
To get Outlook New (PC) to retrieve your email from a 3rd party, you have to input IMAP data, SMTP data and your provider login & password into your account settings.
There is no "Backup" file for Outlook new (PC) and Outlook new (WEB) requires you to ask for one (Comes several days later!). They each have their own rules and don't play well with each other.
Disclaimer: Anyone using an Outlook that has the word "File" in the menu as their source need not reply. Only Outlook "Classic" has that missed feature and is no longer supported. MS has pushed us forward and past a working program that had a lot of nice features. Less is more?
Any help appreciated.
