Hello,

So I recently built a computer:

OS Name Microsoft Windows 11 Pro

Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100

Other OS Description Not Available

OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation

System Manufacturer Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.

System Model B650 AORUS ELITE AX ICE

System Type x64-based PC

System SKU Default string

Processor AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 12-Core Processor, 4701 Mhz, 12 Core(s), 24 Logical Processor(s)

BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends International, LLC. F33a, 2025-02-07

SMBIOS Version 3.7

Embedded Controller Version 255.255

BIOS Mode UEFI

BaseBoard Manufacturer Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.

BaseBoard Product B650 AORUS ELITE AX ICE

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 64.0 GB

and I am getting random BSOD that all have the ntoskrnl.exe as the driver and ntoskrnl.exe+4b8460 as the address.

I have updated my drivers updated the bios, did a memtest86 no errors did DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth followed by a sfc /scannow and nothing. I am running out of options on how to fix or why this is happening. My only other thought is do a complete reinstall of windows.

The bsod:

Thank you for providing the dump files. The analysis indicates two errors "AuthenticAMD.sys", which is linked to your AMD chipset driver and is causing system crashes, and "dxgkrnl.sys", which is related to your graphics driver. To resolve this issue

#1. Visit the support page for your PC or motherboard on the manufacturer’s website, download, and install the recommended version of the AMD chipset drivers.

#2. Use the widely available DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) tool to completely remove the current graphics driver, then install the latest version.

Hi, I'm Thileep K, and I'm happy to assist you!

Could you check if your computer is generating any minidump files?

    1. Open File Explorer and navigate to:

    C:\Windows\Minidump

    1. If you find any .dmp files, please zip them.
    2. Upload the zipped file to Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or any file-sharing site.
    3. Share the link here so I can analyze the files.

Once I have the minidumps, I'll review them to identify what might be causing the crashes.

For more details on sharing crash dumps, you can refer to this thread:

    Best regards,

    Thileep K
