Constantly saying that the server's IP address couldn't be found

Hi! I'm having a lot of trouble with my browsers loading. Almost every time I pull up a new website or go from a link, the page doesn't load and gives me a notification saying that the server's IP address couldn't be found. I already tried turning off the automatic detect settings in the proxy settings. It doesn't seem to have fixed anything. Can someone please help?

    Hi Riley M.

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Your Edge browser tabs are out of order when the browser is closed, then opened and restored. This may be related to browser settings or computer network. If this is a browser setting problem, you can initialize Edge settings in the following way (please back up various data in advance):

    1. Visit the following URL to enter the reset settings interface: edge://settings/reset
    2. Click this button to reset Edge.

If the problem persists after your adjustment, you can try to visit the following page to download our preview version of Edge for use. This version and the version of Edge installed on your computer do not affect each other. If the program can be used normally, you can temporarily use the preview version.

If trying to repair the Edge browser does not work, then this may be a network problem.

If you have used any VPN or network proxy, you need to turn it back on, then turn off the network proxy switch in the software, and then exit the software normally. At this time, your network is likely to be normal. If you have not used a network proxy, you can reset the network settings in the following way:

    1. Press "win + R" to open "Run", enter "cmd" in "Run" and press "Ctrl + Shift + Enter" at the same time to open the command line window with administrator privileges.
    2. Enter the following commands in the pop-up command box in sequence, and press "enter" to execute each input. (Enter the next one after each line is run) ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /registerdns netsh int ip reset netsh winsock reset netsh winhttp reset proxy
    3. Restart the computer to see if the problem can be solved.

If the problem is not solved, the following methods can also help you reset other network settings:

    1. Press "win+R", enter inetcpl.cpl, open Internet Options, click "Advanced", and check "Use SSL 3.0", "Use TLS 1.0", "Use TLS 1.1", "Use TLS 1.2", "Use TLS 1.3", and click "Apply".
    2. Go back to the first step of Internet Options, click Connections, click LAN Settings, and check whether the proxy server column is checked. If so, please uncheck it and click "Apply".
    3. Restart the computer to see if the problem is solved.

    Best Regards,
