I can no longer connect my bluetooth K380 Logitech keyboard

My Logitech keyboard is not connecting this morning. I've been using it for years, first on W10, now W11. It's an easy hookup but when I enter the 6 digit code, I receive the message "That PIN didn't work try connecting again."

My husband has the same keyboard but I shut his off while I tried to pair up my keyboard to my laptop, and received the same message. Any guidance would be helpful.

    Hello Joan,

This is Riaz H, an independent advisor. I can understand your concern and sorry for the inconvenience. Let us try to make your keyboard work again. Here are some steps you can try:

    1. **Remove and Re-Pair the Keyboard**:
      • Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
      • Find your Logitech keyboard in the list of paired devices and remove it.
      • Turn off the keyboard and then turn it back on.
      • Try pairing it again and enter the 6-digit code quickly when prompted.
    2. **Update Bluetooth Drivers**:
      • Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
      • Expand the Bluetooth section.
      • Right-click on your Bluetooth adapter and select Update driver.
      • Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
    3. **Run Bluetooth Troubleshooter**:
      • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
      • Select Bluetooth and click Run the troubleshooter.
      • Follow the on-screen instructions.
    4. **Reset Bluetooth Settings**:
      • Press Windows + X and select Windows PowerShell (Admin).
      • Type the following commands and press Enter after each one: net stop bluetooth net start bluetooth
    5. **Check for Interference**:
      • Ensure there are no other Bluetooth devices nearby that might be causing interference.
      • Try pairing the keyboard in a different location.
    6. **Replace Batteries**:
      • If your keyboard uses batteries, replace them with fresh ones.

Give these steps a try and let me know how it goes! Thanks.
