Hi Dave, thanks for helping. The issue doesn't appear in BIOS; it only happens in normal boot. The horizontal lines appear only once when I turn on the PC in the morning, but they don’t come back for the rest of the day. However, the ghosting/shadow issue is always present. I also noticed that slightly adjusting or securing the VGA cable in a specific position reduces the effect a little.
Monitor Ghosting/Smearing on the right side
I recently bought a new PC with an NEC MultiSync EA223WM monitor. However, I am facing two major issues:
- Horizontal Lines on Startup: Every morning, when I turn on my computer, horizontal lines appear on the screen for a few minutes. After some time, they disappear on their own.
- Ghosting/Shadow Smearing: The biggest issue I am facing is ghosting or shadow smearing. Every object on the screen creates a ghost shadow towards the right side. This makes text and images appear blurry.
I have already tried changing the VGA cable, but the problem persists. What could be causing this issue, and how can I fix it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you boot your PC into BIOS, do you see the same problem indicated on your screen in BIOS?
