I connected my cell phone to my PC today and I do not want to do this anymore. I need to disconnect the cell phone from my laptop. How do I do this? I need instructions specifically or a phone call from someone.

    Hello,Luanne Webb

Welcome to posting in the Microsoft Community.

The specific method of disconnecting the iPhone from the computer depends on how you connect, such as:

    1. Physically disconnect:

Pull out the data cable connecting the iPhone and the PC. This will immediately disconnect.

    1. Turn off the wireless connection (if using wireless):

If you connect the iPhone and PC via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, you can turn off the corresponding function on the iPhone:

Open the iPhone's settings, go to "Wi-Fi" or "Bluetooth", and turn off the connection to the PC.

On the PC, you can also turn off Bluetooth or disconnect the Wi-Fi hotspot connection.

    1. Check iTunes or Phone Link:

If you use iTunes, you can directly turn off these software to ensure that they no longer access your phone. If you use Phone Link, you need to find and open the Phone Link application on your phone and choose to disconnect the pairing.

If you are not sure, you can tell me which method you used to connect, and I will provide you with more detailed instructions. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

    Best Regards,
