I have windows 7 installed on my laptop and it looks like I don't have it's service pack 1 installed, as it is not showing in system properties under windows edition. And a lot of programs are unable to install as I don't have SP1. So to update it I tried to use windows update which is showing error, windows could not search for new updates, error 80072EFE.
I want to run a software for that I need a dll file which I can get on installing Visual C++ 2015, and on installing Visual C++ 2015(VCredistx86) I am getting an error cause I don't have the prerequisite for that which is kb2999226, and to install kb2999226 I need windows 7 SP1.
I tried a lot of ways to fix windows update but nothing is working. So I want to know is there any way I can install SP1 without using windows update.
And Yes I should use windows 10 now, but my laptop's hardware is not strong enough to support windows 10.
So, any help would be appreciated.

I don't have the SUR tool but the SP1 download link is working fine. It's a big file, so it will take some time for me to download it. Thanks for that. But if I face any issue on installing it I will let you know.
