Dear Khadeja Vu!
Welcome to the Microsoft Community!
Thank you for providing a detailed description of your situation. You have tried many common solutions, and this is indeed a tricky problem. Based on your description and my experience, I can provide the following insights:
Redmi Buds 6, as a newer device, may have compatibility issues with Windows 11. Bluetooth compatibility between different devices may indeed vary.
Bluetooth driver updates for Windows systems are generally less frequent than for mobile phones. This is why sometimes TWS headphones work well on mobile phones but may encounter problems on computers.
I myself have encountered a similar situation when using Redmi Buds 4. It could not connect with my old desktop computer, but it could connect with a newer laptop (purchased in June 2024). This further confirms the existence of a compatibility issue.
Recommendation:
It is strongly recommended that you report this compatibility issue through Windows Feedback Hub. Although this type of problem has existed for a long time, your feedback may help Microsoft improve future compatibility.
Over time, Windows may release updates to improve compatibility with new devices. Check Windows Update and device manufacturer driver updates regularly.
If possible, consider using a USB Bluetooth adapter. Sometimes these adapters can solve compatibility issues with built-in Bluetooth.
You can try contacting Redmi's customer support to ask them if they have any special settings or solutions for Windows systems.
While there may not be an immediate solution at the moment, this issue will hopefully improve in the future as technology develops and updates are rolled out. If you have any other questions or need further advice, please feel free to let me know.
Thank you for your understanding and support!
I wish you all the best.
