How do I switch back to Windows 11 from Arch Linux?

Hello!

I have Arch Linux installed and I don't like this! I linked what the setup says to this post. A bit is in English but it means: "A media driver is missing. This can be a DVD-, USB-, or a drive. If you have a CD, DVD etc. with the driver, insert it now." But how do I do this? I saw that I should try using the media creation tool, but how? On Linux you can't execute exe files. Some people said Windows won't recognise my SSD and I should install Intel RST, but I don't know how to install it on Linux. Does someone know how I fix this? And also this is my laptop if it helps: Victus 16-E0557NG

    Hello,

According to https://downloadmirror.intel.com/773229/readme_18_7_6_1010.txt, it is said that you have to run SetupRST.exe from PowerShell to extract the drivers.

To do this, download the SetupRST.exe from Intel, and then Shift + Right-click in the downloads folder and then press "Open PowerShell window here".

Once PowerShell opens, type ./SetupRST.exe -extractdrivers SetupRST_extracted which will extract the drivers to a folder named SetupRST_extracted inside the downloads folder.

Copy that to the USB that you used to try to install Windows 11 on and then see if that works.

Let me know how this goes.

    Hello,

I would recommend asking a friend or a family member that has a Windows computer and then place the Intel RST file onto the Windows USB and you should be good to install Windows.

You might also be able to try and use WINE on Linux and see if you can launch the Intel RST app.

    Hope this helps.
