I saw tiny11 on the internet which is Windows 11 that they claim does not need TPM and secure boot. Is it really safe? Can it be updated? And if it is actually installed on a Windows 7 laptop, will it be dangerous?

Hi! I'm John, a fellow Microsoft user like you.

No, Tiny11 isn’t safe. Since it’s a custom, unofficial Windows version, it could contain malware or security risks. It also may not get official updates, leaving your system vulnerable.

If you're looking to run Windows 11 on unsupported hardware, I’d recommend checking out official options like installing Windows 11 in an unsupported state (though with some limitations and driver issues). If your device is not supported for Windows 11, the only official Microsoft alternative is to stick with Windows 10 or Windows 7.

Should you need further information please let me know.

    Regards,
    John J.D.
