I am ready to scream. What is going on. Even now, while typing this, I'm getting a suggestion with every word I type. I tried to upload and screenshot, and it won't let me, so if that would help, you'll need to also help me with that.

Hello! My name is Renzo and welcome to Microsoft Community.

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue and I'll be happy to help you out.

Windows 11 has an option that shows suggestions while typing. Here’s how to turn it off:

    A. For Hardware Keyboards:

    1. Open Settings:
    2. Press Win + I to open Settings.
    3. Go to Typing Settings:
    4. Navigate to Time & Language > Typing.
    5. Turn Off Text Suggestions:
    6. Scroll down to the Text Input section.
    7. Turn off Show text suggestions as I type.
    8. You can also turn off Autocorrect misspelled words and Highlight misspelled words, depending on your preferences.

    B. For Touch Keyboard (If you’re using a touchscreen or tablet):

    1. Open Settings:
    2. Press Win + I again to open Settings.
    3. Go to Typing Settings:
    4. Navigate to Time & Language > Typing.
    5. Disable Touch Keyboard Suggestions:
    6. Scroll to the Touch Keyboard section.
    7. Turn off Show text suggestions when typing on the touch keyboard.

This should stop the suggestions that pop up while you're typing.

In case of additional questions, reach out back to me, and I will be happy to help and try my best to resolve your issue. Thank you.

Thank you, very grateful. I know I toggled that setting during the hour plus that I devoted to fixing it. However, I didn't restart after making the changes. Those settings aren't supposed to require it.

So, please note: I needed to restart to get it to take effect.

That's was the most grievous of issues plaguing my PC since resetting it. I'm actually sad about what resetting it that has done to my PC. W11 was great just the way it was,
