If you want to transfer win10 files to win11 by using the included backup and recovery tool, you can try the following methods
Step 1: Create a backup on Windows 10
1. Open Control Panel:
Type “Control Panel” in the search box on the taskbar and open it.
2. Go to Backup and Restore:
In Control Panel, find and click “Backup and Restore (Windows 7)” (this feature is still available in Windows 10).
3. Setup Backup:
Click “Setup Backup” and the system will detect available backup locations (such as external hard disk or network location).
Select your backup location and click “Next”.
4. Select what to back up:
You can select “Let Windows choose (recommended)” or “Choose your own”, and then click “Next”.
If you choose “Choose your own”, make sure you select the important files and folders you want to back up.
5. Schedule a backup plan (optional):
Select whether you want to schedule a regular backup and click “Next” to confirm.
