The old double EMOJI problem when commenting in YouTube

The double emoji problem has been the bane of my existence for several years now since Windows 10. Now that I have a fresh, current, and up to date version of Windows 11 Pro, the problem persists. I am not running discord as seems to be a problem, and there is no Emoji panel in Windows 11 so checking the close emoji panel after selecting an emoji won't work. This problem has existed for years, and affects all browsers except Firefox from what I've read. Does anyone have an fix yet?

Here is an example of what I'm referring to when I say I get double emojis when I click just once on the emoji. I must delete one of each emoji when done which I have become quite proficient at! Thanks for any addition help you may have. This seems to effect quite a few people, but not enough evidently for Google, Microsoft, or whoever's problem this is to fix it!

    Hello, Thomas Hood1

Thank you very much for providing the relevant screenshots, which helped us a lot in testing and analyzing the issue! Your feedback allows us to get a clearer picture of the specific situation, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Based on our testing, we tried changing devices, using different browsers, and visiting multiple websites to verify the issue, and found that only YouTube has this double emoji issue. This suggests that this is not a generic issue with systems or browsers, but rather has to do with the design compatibility of the YouTube website.

In response to this, I have compiled and submitted feedback on the issue. It is also recommended that you submit your feedback directly to YouTube by clicking on the three horizontal lines in the upper left corner of the page and selecting “Send Feedback” to submit your comments. Feedback from more users will help them focus on fixing this issue more quickly.

If you find my support helpful in some way, I kindly ask that you log into the account that posted the thread and select “Yes” under the post offering a solution so that this thread can be prioritized. There may be other users in the Microsoft community who are experiencing the same issue, and this reply can help them understand the cause more quickly and avoid duplicate troubleshooting. Also, more users seeing this issue and submitting feedback will further push YouTube to resolve this compatibility issue as soon as possible.

Thanks again for taking the time to share the details with us! If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me and I'll do my best to help. Have a great day!

    Best Regards,
