How to fix "0x800700AA" + "the requested resource is in use"???

Today, I was trying to transferring files (songs, videos,...) from my phone (Google Pixel 4a) into my PC (window 11) as well as deleting some that I didn't need. Here was what happened: For example, I clicked on a song/video file and the computer read it perfectly but the second I clicked on the next different song/video, the system alerted me with this issue "0x800700AA: we couldn't open [file name]", which happened to all other files including the first one that it had successfully opened. Moreover, after this issue "0x800700AA: we couldn't open [file name]" took place, if I tried to copy files from my phone to my PC, the system would output an error "The requested resource is in use". In the attempt to fix this by myself, I already searched up and tried out those online solutions such as SFC/ DISM scan in the Command Prompt, Switch certain Malware Protection Modes in the Window Security,... but all of them didn't work. I don't know why this issue occurs now because in my past file-transferring-from-phone-to-PC section (which was around Aug 23th 2024, pretty recent), everything worked completely fine. I would be grateful if someone could help me with this issue.

Thanks,

Louis

    If none of this works?

literal exact same problem as the original post. it works the first time accessing my file, but after one time nothing will work again.

it is incredibly absurd that in 2025 this is happening with windows. please please figure something out. that i cannot regularly and reliable connect my phone to my computer and transfer files is just insane.

I'm getting the same error message when trying to copy or move PDF files and pictures to my laptop.

    Phone: Galaxy A54 5G

    Laptop: Lenovo Yoga

This wasn't an issue until the recent Microsoft updates! This is a royal PAIN IN THE ****.

Try closing any non-essential applications, especially antivirus programs or sync apps like Google Drive or OneDrive, as they can sometimes hold onto files unexpectedly.

After closing them, try opening or transferring your files again to see if the error still appears. Let me know how that goes.
