    Hi! I'm John.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. I'm here to help with the information you need.

No, it will not cause issues. I understand why this is concerning, especially if your PC suddenly started slowing down. The Windows Web Experience Pack is part of how Windows delivers certain features, like Widgets, but since you don’t use them, you can try disabling Widgets instead of uninstalling the pack entirely.

    To disable Widgets:

    > Right-click on the taskbar and select Taskbar settings.

    > Under Taskbar items, toggle off Widgets.

If you still want to remove the Windows Web Experience Pack, you can try uninstalling it via PowerShell https://www.elevenforum.com/t/uninstall-and-rei...

Just a quick check, I haven’t encountered the Windows Web Experience Pack causing lag or making a PC run slowly. Would you like me to help check if something else might be causing the slowdown?

You're welcome! I'm here to help you further.

Since you've disabled Widgets, let's check what else might be causing the slowdown. Here are a few things to try:

Run DISM and SFC command to automatically repair and restore any potential system file issues. Steps 2 to 5 can be found here: https://support.microsoft.com/windows/using-sys...

    > After running DISM and SFC command, perform a hard shutdown (not restart). Before proceeding with the steps below, please ensure that you've saved any unsaved tasks or documents.

    Perform hard shutdown:

    > Press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds, or until the screen turns off, release the power button and wait for about 30 seconds.

    > After 30 seconds, press the power button again to turn on your device.

Go to Settings > Windows Update and see if any updates are pending. Sometimes, updates optimize system performance.

Since you mentioned lag when printing, outdated or faulty printer drivers might be a factor. Try updating them in Device Manager under Printers.

Also, some third-party cleaning apps can cause more harm than good by deleting essential system files or running unnecessary background processes. If you're using one, I recommend uninstalling it and trying Microsoft PC Manager instead https://pcmanager.microsoft.com/en-us it's an official tool designed to optimize Windows performance.

Thank you for the information. I will remove widgets. Yes, please check to see what may be causing the lag.
