Bluetooth: "Try connecting your device again"

I continuously get this message when trying to connect my M720 mouse. This is the only item that gives that error, even though it connects to other computers and devices just fine. I have "forgotten" the device, ran the Bluetooth troubleshooter, and I believe successfully uninstalled the entire Bluetooth module from control panel and reinstalled it. What else can I do to fix it?

Hi, I'm Ravish, an independent Windows advisor, and I'm here to assist you today.

Here are steps to troubleshoot the Bluetooth connection issue for your Logitech M720 mouse on Windows:

  1. Remove Device Completely

Go to Settings > Bluetooth & Devices.

Remove the M720 mouse under paired devices.

  1. Check Device Manager

Open Device Manager (Win + X > Device Manager).

Expand Bluetooth, right-click your Bluetooth adapter, and select Uninstall device.

Restart your PC to reinstall the adapter automatically.
