This has worked for me in a HP laptop. Thanks so much.
"We couldn't update the system reserved partition" error when trying to run in-place upgrade in Windows 11
Hi,
I need help,please.. I'm currently using Windows 11 but I keep getting BSOD crashes when turning on my computer. I tried all the solutions to troubleshoot this but I still couldn't figure out what's causing all these crashes. So today, I decided I'll reinstall Windows 11, it might help.
So, I downloaded Windows Media creation tool but the problem is that when I ran the setup file, it showed me this error "This PC doesn't currently meet Windows 11 system requirements. Here's why: We couldn't update the system reserved partition". I downloaded PC Health app to check, and it says "This PC meets the requirements".
I did some research and I found this microsoft article saying this error occurs if SRP is full so I tried deleting fonts as suggested here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/topic/-we-couldn-t-update-system-reserved-partition-error-installing-windows-10-46865f3f-37bb-4c51-c69f-07271b6672ac .Tried running the installation again and it still shows error.
Disk management shows my EFI system partition has 100MB capacity, and it's empty, so I don't know why it's still showing reserved partition error. Can someone please help me? I don't know what to do anymore. :( I've attached screenshots below.

HP ZBook Fury 16 2x1TB SSD
On this machine I have found that you NEED to disable the 2nd (Vol.1) drive,
Then delete all but the main partition on 1st (Vol.0) drive, then extend the partition fully.
When the USB stick build process continues, it creates fresh, new partitions as needed, and the build completes successfully
