Some of us are perhaps slower to catch on - I deleted videos thinking I must have forgotten to record any audio with them. Now I know whom to blame.
How to view a c 3 codec audio with new win 11 update
Hi, new win 11 update has supposedly screwed over ac 3 codec. I dont get why, I need to use it.
How can I do that now?

2025-03-03T15:28:41+00:00 Why is this even a problem? Thousands of people are frustrated and probably getting no where. I have an $800 camera I've been using to vlog and all of a sudden I can't edit any of the footage because the audio won't play.

2025-02-28T23:33:37+00:00 If I had known that I cannot playback my old holiday videos with my new windows 11 computer ( No Sound ) with video I would have stuck with windows 10, and when windows 10 stopped working I would have bought an Apple Mac computer.
I don't know why you did not install the AC-1 audio codec with windows 11 as there must have been a lot of people who relied on this codec to play back holiday videos with sound, now all I can do is play back the video minus the sound.

2025-04-20T09:13:06+00:00 I have videos going back to year 2000 that now have no sound! As far as I am concerned, Windows 11 is useless and 10 was much better.
