Hi Nishil Patel2.
Welcome to the Microsoft Community.
One of the screens of your dual-screen laptop does not display any information and can be used to control your other screen. You mentioned in your question that this problem occurs randomly when it occurs. Does it also recover randomly after it occurs? Or has it remained like this since it occurred?
If the problem does not recover after it occurs, then the idea you raised, "Is it possible that I accidentally turned on the function of the second screen and made it a trackpad?" I think it is very likely that you accidentally changed some settings.
I looked up the manual of your laptop. The default key for changing the display mode of your laptop is "Fn + F7". Try using this shortcut to see if there is any change in your current laptop. In addition to this, your computer should come with the software "ScreenXpert". Using it to adjust the display mode of your laptop screen may also help the current situation.
In addition, since many devices of your laptop are connected via Bluetooth, please make sure that these devices are fully charged.
If these problems have occurred recently, then this may be incompatible with Windows updates. You can uninstall the update package in the following way and use wushowhide.diagcab to prevent the update from appearing in the list.
- Press "win + i" to open the settings.
- Go to "System" - "Windows Update" - "Update History" - "Uninstall Updates" in sequence.
- In this interface, you can find the latest Windows updates and uninstall them.
Restart your computer. If your computer returns to normal at this time, you can hide Windows updates by following the steps below:
- Download wushowhide.diagcab from the following website:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/F/2/2/F22D5FDB-59CD-4275-8C95-1BE17BF70B21/wushowhide.diagcab
- Open this program, click Next, and select "hide updates".
- Here, you can find the updates that cause problems, check them, and click Next. Now the update package you selected will no longer be pushed to you.
