How do I fix Windows 10 version 1903 update to newer version of Windows 10 failure?

I just tried reviving my old 7 year old pc, its currently running windows 10 version 1903, it originally was running 1809 and I managed to update it to 1903 in settings and updates since it gave me the option. Since this is still an old version, I went to settings and updates to try to update it to a newer version and it says "Your not up to date" so I clicked check for updates and it spins for about a minute and then nothing appears. I already tried running the update troubleshooter and it tells me it couldn't find any problems. It doesn't give me a error message either, sometimes when I click search for updates a update appears for a couple seconds and then it disappears. Does anyone know as official Microsoft way to fix this without a third party website so that I can update to the latest windows 10 version?

That can be challenging, because Microsoft no longer provides older version of Windows 10 .iso. You would need 1909, 2004, 20H2, 21H1 and 21H2 to do inplace upgrade one by one. Third party site like UUP dump provides older .iso but I just took a look, they don't have all of these .iso. The closest one they have is 21H2, which may or may not work considering it is a 2-year gap.

    Hello,

The current Windows 10 version is 22h2. Version 1903 was from 2019 and has reached the end of support. End of support means update will no longer be pushed via Windows Settings, so this is why you will not be able to get it by going to Windows Settings.

The gap between 1903 and 22h2 is too big in this case, I am afraid your only option at this point is a clean install. This does require backing up your personal files.

To perform a clean installation of Windows 10 using the Windows Media Creation Tool. You do need to get access to another computer so you can download the Windows installation files into a flash drive, then use the flash drive to help your computer. Hopefully you have a spare computer, or you can have friend or family help you.

The following steps should be done on a working Windows computer:

Download the Windows Media Creation Tool from Microsoft's official website. https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/win...

Run the tool and select "Create installation media for another PC."

Choose your language, edition, and architecture (32 or 64-bit) and select "Next."

Choose "USB flash drive" as the media to use for the installation and select "Next."

Connect a USB flash drive with at least 8 GB of free space to your computer.

Select the USB flash drive you want to use, and then select "Next."

The tool will then download the required files and create the installation media.

    =====================================================

Now these steps will  be done on your problematic computer:

Go to the computer's BIOS boot menu to have it boot from the USB drive.

Follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows 10, making sure to choose "Custom install" and select the option to delete all existing partitions.

Once the installation is complete, you'll have a clean installation of Windows 10 on your computer.

No, doing it from Windows settings is impossible - that's the meaning of when a version is no longer supported.

Is there any way I can just update to the next version after 1903 and upgrade one by one until I get 22h2
