I Was Using Windows 10 Up Until Now, And Recently I Upgraded To Windows 11 24H2 And Theres This Issue I Have Noticed, Sometimes After The Laptop Wakes Up From Sleep Or Startup It Feels Super Unresponsive, It Takes 10 Seconds For An App To Open And When I Drag The App Window Around It Is Super Laggy like its moving in 10fps (i have a 144Hz Monitor), But The Moment I Touch The Trackpad. It Fixes The Issue And Its Starts To Be Normal Again (Fast And Responsive)

This Issue Never Occurred in Windows 10, Only In Windows 11

Idk What The Issue Is, But It Seems Like An Issue With Windows 11 I'm Not Sure Tho

Hello Mohammed, I go through the forum responding to posts like this, but I don't work for Microsoft. This issue you're having is one I've also had until recently, and I think I've managed to solve it.

What I did was disabling the Fast Startup feature. I realized Fast Startup can cause odd wake-from-sleep behavior that impacts performance. You can turn it off by going to Control Panel > Power Options > Choose what the power buttons do > Change settings that are currently unavailable, then uncheck Turn on fast startup and save. After that, you can restart your PC.

If this doesn't work, let me know, because I'm currently still investigating this issue.

Thanks for reaching out the Community!!
