How do I completely uninstall PC APP STORE?

Someone in the household recently managed to install PC APP STORE on Windows 11 pro. I uninstalled it through control panel however every time I click on my start menu the PC APP STORE still pops up alongside it. It disappears when I try to click the settings cog and is no longer listed in control panel for me to uninstall (again). It responds to anything typed into the search field so I know it's still active and watching. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Kyle

Greetings, I am Udit and I am glad to assist you today.

If you are talking about a third party app store and not the windows store, I would suggest you to restart the PC once the uninstall is complete and then try. As it may require the PC to restart in order to adapt the changes made.

Incase the issue persists, please feel free to let me know.

    I hope this will help.

    Regards

    Udit

See if this resolves the issue.

    Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool:

    https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/farbar-recovery-scan-tool/

Note: If you are using Edge or Chrome, SmartScreen may initially block the download.

Click on the three dots next to the warning and select Keep => Show more => Keep anyway.

    Download this Fixlist.txt

    • Run FRST64.exe and click "Fix"
    • The computer will reboot to complete the removal.
