Get help with mixer volume settings in Windows 11..i recently had an update and following that my sound options have been removed the speaker symbol has an X through it and i have no sound..

    Hello ,

    I’m here to help you in resolving your issue

    Restart Windows Audio Services

    1. Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
    2. Scroll down and find these services:

    Windows Audio

    Windows Audio Endpoint Builder

    Remote Procedure Call (RPC)

    3.Right-click each service > Restart.

    Update or Reinstall Audio Drivers

    1. Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
    2. Expand Sound, video and game controllers.
    3. Right-click your audio device (e.g., Realtek, Intel, or AMD audio) and choose: Update driver > Search automatically.
    4. If that doesn’t work, select Uninstall device, then restart your PC—Windows should reinstall the driver automatically.

    Sorry, your steps do not work. The audio devices are there, but the laptop still says no device is attached for output and input audio.
