Understanding Your Problem PS5 DualSense Controller Audio Device Problems
To disable DualSense as an audio device
Via Windows Sound Settings.
Right-click on the volume icon on the taskbar
Select “Sound Settings”
Find the “Select Output Device” and “Select Input Device” drop down menus
Disable or set the DualSense device as a non-default device.
Via Device Manager.
Press Win+X and select “Device Manager”.
Expand “Audio Inputs and Outputs”.
Right-click on the audio device associated with DualSense
Select “Disable Device”.
To prevent automatic switching of the default audio device: o Right-click on the volume in the taskbar
Right-click on the volume icon in the taskbar
Select “Sound
In the “Playback” tab, right-click on your headphones
Select “Set as default device” and “Set as default communication device”.
Right-click on the DualSense audio device
Select “Disable”
If you can't use or control it, try going to the Sony Support page and downloading PlayStation®Accessories to update your controller and see if that solves the problem
