A factory reset restores the computer with the operating system, drivers, and applications that it had had at the time of sale.

In order to perform a factory reset the image is required at the time of sale.

This could be in a partition, DVDs, or flash drive.

If a factory reset is not available then applications have to be reinstalled.

If a factory reset image is unavailable there are other options.

    Options may include:

    Reset save files

    Reset remove files

    Custom install

    Clean install

For all methods you may be able to have Windows save files or manually backup files.

Also there may be troubleshooting steps for unexpected shutdowns and restarts.

Hello, my name is Anis. I'll be glad to help you today.

You can factory reset the PC from the Windows Environment.

Start the PC. At the lock screen, press and hold the Shift key while you select Power > Restart using the mouse pointer.

The PC will start in the Windows RE.

Once in Windows RE, select Troubleshoot > Reset this PC > System Restore

Let me know how it goes.
