Can you use a 200px image as a .cur file?

This isn't exactly a problem, I just want to know how to use a larger image as a .cur file. All the tutorials I've found involve CSS, but I don't do coding. I've been stuck with the 32x32px shrunk down version of it on a larger mouse scale, but it's still pretty bad.

    Hello ,

I’m here to help you in resolving your issue

No, Windows does not support 200px .cur (cursor) files natively. Windows cursor files are typically 32x32 pixels (sometimes 48x48 on high-DPI screens), and they must be in .cur format with an embedded hotspot.

If you want to use a 200px image, you’ll need to convert it to a proper .cur file:

1: Resize the image to 32x32 or 48x48 pixels using an image editor like Photoshop, GIMP, or an online tool.

2: Convert it to .cur format using an online converter or software like:

    RealWorld Cursor Editor

    IcoFX (paid)

3: Set the Hotspot (this is where Windows detects clicks).

4: Apply the new cursor in Settings > Mouse > Pointers.

You can use Larger Cursor but only if you use a cursor replacement tool like:

    1. Custom Cursor for Windows
    2. Stardock CursorFX (supports larger animated cursors)
