Yes, that’s definitely possible. While your device supports upgrading to Windows 11, some features might not work correctly if the manufacturer hasn’t provided updated drivers.

I still highly recommend reaching out to HP, as they might have an older driver that could work. Hopefully, they can assist you further!

I hope the information I provided was helpful in some way.

That is really possible? That explains why I could not find it but I am surprised to learn that. Thank you for your help.

Thanks for sharing the screenshots and for waiting while I checked.

It looks like there is no touchscreen driver available for Windows 11. I also checked the Microsoft Update Catalog for any HID-compliant touchscreen driver specific to your model, but unfortunately, none are listed.

Since the touchscreen hasn’t worked for a couple of years, it’s possible that HP has discontinued driver support for this feature on your device or for support for Windows 11.

I recommend reaching out to HP Support to confirm whether a compatible driver is available or if there are alternative solutions.

Let me know if you need any help with that!

Thank you for letting me know.

Please allow me a moment to check this for you.

Could you provide your System Information page so I can take a closer look?

    > Press Windows + R key to open Run dialog.

    > Type this and press Enter: msinfo32

    > Capture a screenshot of the System Information window.

Also, could you provide me with a screenshot of your current Windows 11 OS Build?

To do this, press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog, type "winver" (without the quotes), and capture a screenshot (make sure not to include your email address).

Please attach both screenshot in your next response.
