nevermind my computer fails to install 24H2, please ignore my previous message. I am going to delete it if I can.
Windows 11, version 24H2 Install Error- 0xc1900200
I have been getting Install error for many months when I try to install Windows 11, version 24H2 update.
It would download to 100% and then when it executes to install the file, it fails and gives me this error:
Install Error- 0xc1900200
In the Windows Update, I clicked on Fix this issue. It says This PC doesn't currently meet Windows 11 system requirements. Here's why: Windows can't be installed because this PC has an unsupported disk layout for UEFI firmware.
C:$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther\setupact.log

2025-02-26T02:39:19+00:00 Hi,
The OS drive is an MBR disk. Converting it to GPT should resolve the issue.
- From the admin Command Prompt, please run this command: bcdboot c:\windows /s C: /f ALL
Post the output.
- Create a Windows 11 USB setup disk using the Media Creation Tool.
To create one, you'll need a USB stick of 8GB or higher capacity. Note that the contents of the USB stick will be erased during the setup disk creation process.
Download Windows 11 Media Creation Tool (MCT) from:
https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2156295
- Boot into WinRE
After creating the USB setup disk, boot the computer from it. You may need to change the boot order in the BIOS/UEFI settings. Consult your system or motherboard manual to learn how to access the UEFI settings for your model.

2025-02-25T18:10:29+00:00 Hi, This is Ramesh.
The EFI partition may be missing.
- Please open Disk Management and maximize it. Adjust the column widths in the top pane to make all the entries visible. Post a screenshot.
- Launch msinfo32.exe, and click System Summary. Resize the columns in the right pane to make the entries visible, and post a screenshot of that screen.
- Open Command Prompt admin and run these two commands: reagentc /info bcdedit
Post the output.
