you assume its the printer, its not. other surface pros and other devices print to the printer, just one surface pro is not.
How about you focus on it NOT being the printer

Purchased a new printer that should have been compatible with Windows 11, it connected properly but it won't print, I have already done everything (uninstall, unplug, etc.) and it still doesn't print any documents) before doing anything drastic, like uninstall Windows 11 (Microsoft 365), what else is there to do? Apparently, there are printer drivers still needed for Windows 11.

suggesting one updates the driver via windows 11 is useless, this in my 20 years has never found a driver to update always says you have the latest driver
Hi KH 06
Welcome to the Microsoft Community
Understanding your problem, the printer is not working
Update Windows: Make sure your Windows 11 system is up to date. Microsoft frequently releases updates to address compatibility issues.
Check the printer firmware: Visit the printer manufacturer's website to see if the latest firmware update is available.
Use a generic print driver: If a specific driver doesn't work, try using the generic print driver built into Windows.
Disable Windows Firewall and Antivirus: Temporarily disable these programs that may interfere with printer communications.
Use a troubleshooting tool: Windows 11 has a built-in printer troubleshooting tool that may automatically recognize and fix the problem.
Open Settings by pressing the Windows key + I, or by clicking the Start menu and selecting the gear icon.
In the left menu of the Settings window, select System.
On the right side of System Settings, scroll down and click Troubleshooting.
On the Troubleshooting page, click on “Other Troubleshooting”.
Find “Printers” in the list and click the “Run” button next to it.
The troubleshooting tool will start checking your printer settings and connections. It may ask you to provide some information or perform some actions. Please read and follow the instructions carefully.
Check Printer Port: Make sure the printer is using the correct port (e.g. USB001 or IP address).
Check printer services: Make sure that the printer-related services in Windows (e.g. Print Spooler) are running.
Contact the manufacturer's support: If none of the above works, contact the printer manufacturer's technical support. They may have a solution specifically for Windows 11.
Contact me if you need anything else.
Best wishes

Thanks to all who responded - I guess I have more to research before I can just click a button, then my heels, and assume it'll all get fixed!! Linda
Hello KH 06,
Sometimes the printer does not communicate with your device and does not print documents even if it is connected. In this case, you need to check many points, if the printer components function properly, such as the roller and the document feeder has the right amount of documents. Also, check that the ink cartridge is installed properly and the printer has sufficient ink. If the problem is not solved, then look for help from the customer care.
