I got this in the windows logs application. I would like to know what this is.

Event 256, Edge

[3600:6752:0315/123114.580:INFO:extension_garbage_collector.cc(184)] Garbage collection for extensions on file thread is complete.

I get this when I open Microsoft Edge and go to a site like YouTube. Some other sites it doesn't trigger the event but when I close the browser it triggers the event. I've removed the extensions and tried without them and it still persisted.

Hello, I'm Quinn, and I'm happy to help.

No need to worry about this log, it's completely harmless. It simply means that Microsoft Edge has performed routine maintenance by clearing out leftover or unused data from its extension system. This process helps free up memory and ensures the browser runs efficiently. In short, this event is informational and not indicative of an error or issue.
