I just bought a Logitech MX Brio 4K Ultra HD web camera so I can use Windows Hello Face option to log in. The camera works but Windows is stating the option unavailable because a compatible camera can't be found. The MX Brio is Hello compatible I am looking for suggestions to remediate. Thank you

This webcam doesn't have an infrared camera, so it has no windows hello face.

Only the logitech 4k pro has an infrared camera.

Thank you for pointing this out. I am returning the MX Brio which was represented as working with Windows Hello and purchasing the 4K Pro which you recommended and which I have confirmed does in fact have IR facial recognition.

    Hello ,

I’m here to help you in resolving your issue

Sometimes, the issue could be due to outdated or missing drivers. Follow these steps:

    1: Update Drivers:

Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.

Find Imaging Devices and locate your Logitech Brio camera.

Right-click it and select Update driver.

Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.

If an update is found, install it and restart your computer.

    2: Reinstall the Webcam Drivers:

In Device Manager, right-click on the Logitech Brio camera under Imaging Devices.

    Select Uninstall device and confirm.

Disconnect and reconnect the camera to reinstall the driver.

Make sure that Windows Hello is properly set up:

    1: Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.

2: Under Windows Hello, make sure the Face Recognition option is listed.

3: If the camera is listed, click on it to Set up or Manage the face recognition settings.

4: If it's unavailable, you may need to reset Windows Hello:

5: Click on Remove to delete any existing facial recognition data.

6: Try setting it up again to see if it works.
