Hi, Farhan Ahmed Memon
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
We understand that you have encountered a problem when installing the Intel HD 3000 graphics driver on the HP ProBook. When installing drivers for old hardware (such as Intel HD 3000 graphics card) on Windows 11, it may be necessary to disable Memory Integrity, but this will reduce system security. Combined with the event log (ID 411) provided by you, the root of the problem lies in the compatibility conflict between the driver and the system. If you encounter substantial computer problems, such as computer crashes or crashes, you can try the following methods, otherwise don't worry:I. installing the driver1. Get the official adapter driver:Enter the notebook model (such as ProBook 6460b) from the HP support page and download the Intel HD 3000 driver for Windows version 10 (if there is no Win11 driver).Or download the old driver from Intel archive station:Intel HD 3000 Win8.1 64-bit driver v9.17.10.4459*Disclaimer: Microsoft provides no assurances and/or warranties, implied or otherwise, and is not responsible for the information you receive from the third-party linked sites or any support related to technology.*2. Manually and forcibly install the driver:Enter the device manager, right-click the graphics card device → update the driver → browse my computer to find the driver.Select the unzipped drive folder and check "Include subfolders" to force installation.Disable driver signature verification (temporary):When restarting, press and hold Shift to select Troubleshooting > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart, and press F7 to disable driver signature enforcement.II. Fixing errors caused by driver conflictsClean up the old drive residue:Use Wagnardsoft - ISLC and DDU for Gaming & System Optimization to completely uninstall the Intel graphics driver in safe mode.Reinstall the adapter driver after restarting.Modify the driver INF file (high risk operation):Unzip the official driver package and find the. inf file (such as igdlh64.inf).Add your hardware ID in [Manufacturer] and [IntelGfx.NTamd64.6.1]:%iSNBGM1% = iSNBGM1, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0116&SUBSYS_161D103CSave and re-execute the manual installation.*Disclaimer: Microsoft provides no assurances and/or warranties, implied or otherwise, and is not responsible for the information you receive from the third-party linked sites or any support related to technology.*If the above solutions still can't solve your problem, you may need to contact Intel official support further, or consider replacing Windows 10, because the compatibility of Intel HD 3000 is better in the old system, so you can continue to contact us at that time. We can provide you with specific installation steps. If you have any progress or need more help, please feel free to contact us.
