good morning/good evening, i join, even in the msi center app it doesn't work, i mean i can press them, but it just lacks brightness
Fn + F8 works, but doesnt perform its assigned function.
Laptop: MSI Delta 15 A5EFK
all the function keys work, except for the Fn+F8 function, which is supposed to be the keyboard backlight button. in short: the backlight function doesnt activate when pressed.
What I tried/checked:
drivers are up to date,
function key does work with F8 (tested on Ratatype, F8 works and recognizes and input from Fn + F8),
checked with function lock on and off.
checked UEFI for anything regarding buttons.
my thoughts: the backlight function is "unassigned" to the Fn + F8 button press.
I would like some help to fix it.
Thanks in advance!

The actions associated to the function keys (F1 - F12) are not controlled by any setting in Windows because those actions vary form PC to PC, it is always a PC manufacturers setting in BIOS or in some utility they have installed that controls those keys.
Open the MSI Control Center and check in there for a Mystic Light section, can you enable the keyboard backlight from in there?
