Solved!- I followed the steps correctly, and my server was correct; I just wasn't using the correct username. To find my correct username, I used the username that the Command Prompt displays, instead of the username was automatically filled in.
[SOLVED] How do I find my server password?
I'm trying to connect my Macbook to my Windows PC in order to share files, and I saw that I needed to connect my Macbook to my PC's server to do that. I've enabled file sharing on both my Mac and PC, created a folder with sharing permissions, and found the IP address of my PC. The only thing left for me to do is enter the name and password for my Window PC's server on my Mac to connect to it. However, I don't know how to find my server's password.
How do I find my server password? I've heard that the server password is the same as the password for your Microsoft account, but using that didn't work.
