    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.

If I understand correctly, your device is stuck in a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error, and even after entering the BitLocker recovery key, the issue persists.

To better assist you, could you please share the exact error message or stop code displayed on the Bluescreen?

Did you make any recent changes to your computer like Updating Windows or drivers?

In the BSOD screen, press F1 to enter the recovery environment. Or, you can follow the steps to boot your PC in the Windows Recovery Environment screen,

    1. Start your device and wait for the Windows logo (or the manufacturer's logo) to appear.
    2. As soon as the Windows logo appears, press and hold the power button until the device shuts down.
    3. Turn your device on again and repeat step 2.
    4. Turn your device on a third time. Windows should display the Automatic Repair screen.
    5. Select Advanced options.

    • On the Choose an option screen, select troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Select System Restore.
(this option takes your PC back earlier point in time).

If that doesn't resolve your issue, you can try other options like Startup Repair, Uninstall Updates (Quality updates) or boot your PC in safe mode.

As a last resort, you can try resetting your PC without affecting your Personal files.
Select Troubleshoot > Reset this PC > Keep my files and proceed with Local reinstallation.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you further.

    Best regards,

    Gunasekar N

Hi, thank you for getting back to us.

Since you are still experiencing issues after trying the above recommendations, you will have to create a Windows 11 USB installation media and use the media to Repair or Re-install Windows.

Since re-installing Windows will format your hard drive by deleting all your files, you can try repairing your computer first.

Steps to create a Windows 11 Bootable USB installation media drive -

To create a Bootable installation media, you will need a different computer (Working one) to do this.

    1. Plug in an empty USB drive (min 8GB) to a working computer.
    2. Download the Windows 11 Media creation tool from the link below.

    https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/win...

    1. Run the Media creation tool and Uncheck the Use the recommended options for this PC box to select the appropriate language and edition.
    2. Select the bootable USB flash drive with at least 8GB of space that you have prepared to use, then select Next. Reminder: any content on the USB flash drive will be deleted.
    3. The USB device will be formatted, and the Windows installation media will be placed on the USB flash drive.
    4. The USB flash drive will now serve as bootable Windows 11 Installation Media. Select Finish.

Plug in the USB installation media on the problematic PC, and boot your device from the USB drive.

If the files on the device are not very important and you have already have the backup of your Files, you can proceed with Install Windows option.

See the video for reference - Clean installation of Windows 11.

If you have any important files, we will need to select 'Repair your computer' option instead of Install Windows method and try the recovery options like system restore, startup repair, System recovery without affecting your personal files using the USB installation media.

If nothing works, you can rescue your important files first using the method described in the article below and then re-install Windows.
