I bought my PC last year and purchased a Windows 11 activation key from the company I bought my PC from. It was legitimate, from Microsoft themselves, and there was an additional charge of 60 pounds along with the PC. Now I received a notification saying there was no Windows key found on my PC? I have everything already personalised, from the wallpaper to custom colors. What do I do? I no longer have the activation key card; I threw it out with the box my PC came in after I activated Windows 11. :(

Please check if your Windows license is linked to your Microsoft account. Visit the Microsoft Devices Page https://account.microsoft.com/ and sign in with the account you used on your PC. If your PC is listed, your digital license is linked to your account. To reactivate, go to Settings>System>Activation>Troubleshoot, then select "I recently changed hardware" and follow the prompts.

Please try finding the product key.
Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
Type wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey
If it shows a product key, please write it down and try activating using the commands below.
slmgr.vbs /ipk XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX and then press Enter.
slmgr.vbs /ato and then press Enter.

I understand you are having problems activating your Windows license.
Please follow the steps below to check the status of your license key.
Please click the Start menu, type in CMD, right-click, and run as administrator.
Then, on the command prompt window type in
slmgr -dli
This will show the kind of license that you have. It can be one of three types: Retail (FPP (Full Packaged Product)), OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), and Volume Licensing. The last type is usually for organizations that have multiple license keys and are not for resale. It is the type that is most often used for pirate copies of Windows.
If it doesn't work with that command, type in this command instead then press enter.
slmgr /dlv
