Hello, you can also try the following:

For some ASUS laptops, you may need to install the Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST) driver during the Windows installation. You can download the IRST driver from the ASUS support page and follow the instructions to load it during the installation process. See if it helps.

Hi! For the ASUS IRST it says failed to install, so this one probably wont work.

I am sorry that your issue has not yet been resolved. I would first, suggest you to identify Your Storage Controller:

You'll need to know the exact model of your SSD or the storage controller on your ASUS motherboard.

If you have the motherboard model number, go to the ASUS support website for that motherboard.

You can also find it in Linux, run ‘lspci | grep -i storage’ to find the storage controller.

    Download the Correct Drivers:

You can also visit the ASUS support website for details on your motherboard or laptop model.

Look for the "Storage" or "SATA" or "NVMe" drivers.

Download drivers specific to your Windows version (e. g., Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 11 64-bit).

If you have an NVMe SSD, the manufacturers usually have their own NVMe drivers available on their website.

Unzip the driver files you downloaded to a separate USB flash drive.

    Load Drivers During Windows Installation:

When you get the "Where do you want to install Windows? " screen, select "Load driver. "

Go to the USB flash drive where you extracted the drivers.

Select the appropriate driver and click "Next."

Windows should then recognize your SSD.

Please try the above and let me know if that fixed your issue. Thanks

    Hello Balint,

I am Riaz H, an independent advisor.

I can understand your concern and sorry for the inconvenience.

If your SSD does not show up on your system, do the following to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Make Sure It’s Installed Correctly

Ensure the SSD is securely inserted into the M. 2 slot on your motherboard. If it's not in tightly or inserted all the way, your system won't see it.

    1. Check BIOS/UEFI Settings

Start the computer and go into BIOS/UEFI (You can do so by pressing F2, F10, DEL, or ESC at startup). Look for the SSD in the Storage or Advanced settings. If it isn't there, enable "NVMe" or "PCIe" support if it's there.

    1. Update Your BIOS/UEFI

An out-of-date BIOS/UEFI can make it difficult for your computer to recognize new hardware. Visit the website for your motherboard manufacturer and install the latest update if necessary. Follow the guidelines to update BIOS/UFEFI given in the manufacturer's website.

    1. Initialize the SSD in Windows

If the SSD is visible in BIOS but not in Windows, you’ll need to initialize it. Please follow the following steps:

Right-click the Start button and open Disk Management.

Locate the new SSD, right-click, and choose Initialize Disk.

Follow the on-screen instructions to set it up.

    1. Update Your Drivers

Make sure your motherboard and storage controller drivers are up to date. Go to your motherboard manufacturer’s website and download the most recent versions.

    1. Check Compatibility

Not all motherboards support PCIe Gen3 x4 SSDs, so if yours is old, you might not be able to use one. Check your motherboard's specs to be sure.

If you have followed all the steps but still no luck and your SSD does not show up, it could be a hardware issue with the SSD or motherboard. Please contact Apacer support or your motherboard manufacturer for further help.

Hopefully, your issue will be fixed soon. Let me know if you need any more details! Thanks
