    Dear JOHNSON YENDAU ABAWIERA,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community

Thank you for your question regarding the ability to change the color of the battery icon in the system tray (taskbar) on Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Unfortunately, Windows does not currently offer a built-in feature to directly colorize the battery icon through the standard settings. While the battery icon is part of the system tray, it lacks customization options such as color changes.

However, third-party applications like BatteryBar offer effective workarounds. BatteryBar is a battery status gauge that appears on the taskbar, providing customization options, including color themes for the battery icon.

Here’s how you can use BatteryBar:

    1. Visit the official BatteryBar website. Disclaimer: Microsoft provides no assurances and/or warranties, implied or otherwise, and is not responsible for the information you receive from the third-party linked sites, or any support related to technology.
    2. Download and install the application.
    3. After installation, right-click the BatteryBar icon in the taskbar.
    4. Select Configuration, and then explore the options to customize the appearance, including changing the color of the battery icon.

If you're not comfortable using third-party software, you can submit feedback to Microsoft for this feature via the Feedback Hub. Simply press Windows + F to open the Feedback Hub, describe the issue, and submit your suggestion. This helps Microsoft consider the feature for future updates.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, feel free to reach out!

    Best Regards,

Martin | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
