How do I fix “Something happened and your pin isn’t available”?

My computer locked and the message “Something happened and your PIN isn’t available. Click to set up your PIN again.” But when I click to set up pin it’s a loop and I have no other options.

    On the login page, hold down the SHIFT key and click on the power button and select the Restart option while holding down the SHIFT key.

    or

    Start your PC, as soon as Windows tries to load (spinning dots appear), press and hold the power button for 5 to 10 seconds to perform a forced shutdown

    Do this two or three times.

    This will make Windows boot into the WinRe environment.

    Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair.

    If the problem persists, select Advanced options > System Restore.
