STOP Forcing New Features As Defult

All Microsoft products, for some unknown reason, have now drastically changed. When the company sends out software updates or launches new software from Office Suite to web-based products, they all now default to the new features. This has contributed to the drastic decline in productivity for many companies with update to Microsoft software or purchased licenses for new software.

Microsoft was created with a vision to make computers accessible to the AVERAGE person by developing software that could be used by EVERYONE. This vision was realized through the development of USER-FRIENDLY OPERATING SYSTEMS and SOFTWARE. Changing all software and software updates to default to the new features forces staff to stop working and search how to find where common tasks are or if it's possible to revert to the original UI version. The decision for Satya Dandela to approve making new features the default for all Microsoft products is a very big sign he is not in line with the original Microsoft Vision.

Hopefully Gates and the board will acknowledge this issue, review his leadership and decided these actions significantly temper Microsoft's growth potential.

As it is now if they continue to allow Satya Nandela to sign off on all changes that are the antithesis of the Company Vision, it will soon die out.

Merek, this forum is supported, and sponsored by the Microsoft company and includes FTE's responding to questions periodically. As a conduit to the company it is the antithesis of all retail companies with the claim they are "customer friendly" and "customer focused" when they set the expectation customers need to file complaints on another platform.

Your response is not assisting customers or the company. I suggest the next time your group has a huddle, mention this fact and suggest the company take ustomer dissatisfaction seriously.

There are far too many issues with the programmers forcing new features onto high capacity professional users vs. adding these features as OPTIONS, it is drastically affecting productivity. We are who companies listen to, and we are extremely dissatisfied.

It's also the antithesis of anything Customer Focused to expect anyone to down load an app just to send feedback.

Very substandard behavior from a retail co.

Merek it's insulting to state the obvious. What made you feel like my post set the expectation you will change anything...

    That's a rhetorical.
