    Most often this is a problem when you have installed a different version of Windows 7 than the licence was issued for.

    Also commonly, people do not understand that a licence that came with a branded PCis only good for that particular machine. It is not transferrable, in that case

    Hello,

    You can try to activate Windows 7 over the phone or online, but I doubt that'd work.

    Try opening Command Prompt and then typing slui 4 and push enter and follow the prompts on-screen.
